About Me

To pursue my passion for diving, I spent several holidays in the Algarve in 1992. Just 2 years later, I decided to emigrate and move to Lagos. Portugal’s culture, the people, the great food, the beautiful weather and its underwater world immediately captured my heart.

After initial difficulties getting used to a new language and culture, I learnt to speak Portuguese fluently over the following years and familiarized myself with the culture and mentality of the locals. In 1997, I got my first job as a secretary and salesperson with a premium Real Estate Agency in Lagos.

I learnt a lot about the Portuguese property market and decided to work for the same company as a freelance property consultant, with great success. I passed the exam at the University of Faro as ‘Angariadora Imobiliária’ (IMOPPI) and received my license no. 245.

Since then, I have built up an extensive network of contacts with estate agents, lawyers, notaries, architects, mortgage brokers, banks & building contractors working in the West Algarve. To this day, this enables me to offer my clients an individual and personalized service that covers all important areas.

In autumn 2024, I decided to start my own business as a real estate agent with a small company specializing in the purchase and sale of residential properties. I acquired my Real Estate Agent license no. 24507 through the IMPIC – Institute of Public Markets, Property and Construction.

I am looking forward to fulfilling many more people’s dream of owning their dream property in the Algarve and bringing them closer to this unique culture.
